Plagiarism, Evidences and A Confession

The Confession

I have been a very very bad girl for the past few weeks and after examining my conscience want to confess to my sins. It hurts to tell you all, that I am ashamed of myself for not replying back to all those beautiful comments and birthday wishes on my last two posts. At first, I felt like "let the comments reach 10 in number and then I can reply". By the time it went beyond 10, I was too busy reading and commenting on blogs. I took for granted that as long as you guys know I am alive and dancing on your blogs, you won't take the pain to check out for my replies. Alas, I forgot that I am not the only one in this Blog Land who goes back to check if the author had replied to our comments. Did I say it's a pleasure in the wrong place to know that there are bloggers like me??...grrrrr.

I was conjuring up creative reasons to camouflage my sins. I thought of writing "I was so busy and caught up with a dozen things like cooking a 4 course meal thrice a day, scrubbing the bathroom, exercising with the clothes in the laundry, ogling at guys in the gym, taking my son out for all his outdoor activities, shopping for shoes etc..to have enough time to reply". But then all those 100 plus 3 para comments I put on other blogs on a daily basis seemed to stand out like an evidence against my classic wifely statement. Then I toyed with this gem of an idea "Sorry for not replying to your comments as some exciting things are happening in our lives and would dramatically announce that I am pregnant". I believed that only insane people will not like to hear people congratulating you on your dare devil skills that bring a baby into this world and talk about the calming effects of the colours Blue and Pink. Besides, I was missing looking forward to the word CUTE, CHO CHWEET etc written at least 3 times in every sentence all of you will put in future comments and emails. Just in time, I was reminded of the earthquake that would occur inside my house as an aftermath of such an adventurous statement. So guys for my own safety I better confess to the real reason for not replying "I was plain lazy and kinda pissed off with my blog. I think in a year of being together, me and my blog are experiencing the 1 year itch that couples usually face in 7 years of marriage". So I beg for your forgiveness and hope you will pray for a peaceful and happy existence between cranky Mr. Cracked Chronicles and the angel Mrs. Sakshi. If you are one of those heartless unforgiving souls, I hope you will still not ban me from putting my wise, well researched comments at your place!!

Evidences from A chilly Afternoon

There is something about Winter. I am in love with the Boston Winters as it transforms this beautiful city into a fairyland. Sunlight that reflects off mountains of snow makes the people look so warm in their bundled up clothes and cozy smiles. It is the season where you don't have to look out for reasons to cuddle up with someone you love. I truly cherish the long quiet stillness this season brings along, when I can sit and savour being myself and gather up all those memories that makes me warm.

Last year on the 11th of December an Ice Storm raged the state of Vermont knocking out power supplies to many homes for weeks. The crazy people that my family is, we drove 200 miles to capture the aftermath of nature's rage on camera. When I saw the sight before me I swear to god all I thought was - how sad it is to know that the rage that dwells inside us humans, will never ever leave behind anything as beautiful as this. Nature's rage, most of the time doesn't destroy the spirit of a man; unlike that caused by the actions of an enraged mind.

Plagiarism

With this post I have ventured into plagiarism without any kind of remorse whatsoever for the act. You might have noticed that I have put up some photos taken by my husband. He is an excellent photographer and my guru in photography, but too lazy to put up his works on any www.com. So I have decided to steal his work and put it up here to get some limelight. I am doing this because I am sure he will not take the pain to sue me and spend his hard earned money on two lawyers for each of us. (besides I always threaten him with the kind of blogger friends I have *wink* ) So those who tend to get inspired to steal, please practice extreme caution even before such a thought crosses your mind or you will end up like the chor who stole this entire awesome blog.

PS: Those who don't like winter photographs can have a look at here and here for some Autumn photographs (Yeah, I am the best advertising agent for myself when it comes to asking for your comments politely).
